1. ENTRANCE. The customer is obliged to identify himself by means of an official and original document that sufficiently proves his identity. Whenever requested to do so, the customer must identify himself as a registered guest by the means made available to him.
2. LOCATION. The occupation of plots and accommodation, as well as their change, can only be carried out with prior authorisation from Reception. The maximum number of people per pitch and accommodation is SIX.
3. DIVISION OF THE PLOT. The plots are delimited by the hedges and the light box. If the light box is not on the plot, the light box of the nearest plot will be taken as a reference. If in doubt, please consult Reception. Customers occupying more space than indicated in these regulations will have to vacate the invaded area.
4. OBLIGATIONS OF THE CUSTOMER. The client is responsible for keeping his pitch clean throughout his stay. It is not allowed to put ropes on the trees or the light box, nor to cover the hedges. It is not allowed to put up tents or any other kind of an agile elements on the pitches.
5. HOURS OF SILENCE. Silence shall be maintained from 00:00 to 07:00. Silence during this period shall be absolute. The overnight area kindly requests the responsible guest to instruct the registered persons in charge to comply with the rule of silence during this interval.
6. NOISE. Also during the day, the noise level produced by the customers themselves, their devices and appliances or their pets shall not cause a nuisance to neighbours. This also applies in communal areas, particularly the toilets. It shall be the responsibility of the overnight stay area to judge when noise exceeds a reasonable and acceptable level, and may accordingly prohibit any source of noise pollution.
7. COMPANION ANIMALS. Clients with pets must have civil liability insurance, vaccination certificate and stay in the area assigned to them. The animal must be kept on a leash at all times and may not enter the toilets and facilities. Should the animal relieve itself outside the areas provided for this purpose, the owner must remove the faeces. The animal must never cause a nuisance to other customers. Under no circumstances may they be left on the pitch without supervision.
8. VEHICLE TRAFFIC. The maximum permitted speed is 10km/h. It is forbidden to circulate in the area during the hours of silence. The barrier will be closed from 22:00h to 9:00h, the user will be able to access the enclosure as long as the hours of silence are respected. The general traffic rules are also in force inside the campsite. The use of motor and/or electric scooters is forbidden for children under 16 years of age and the use of mini-motorbikes and quads is forbidden in all cases.
9. PARKING OF VEHICLES. Vehicles may only be parked on the plot itself if they are not permitted vehicles or in the outside car park. It is strictly forbidden to park on the streets, in reserved parking areas, on unoccupied plots or in such a way as to impede the movement of other vehicles. If a vehicle prevents the occupancy of a pitch, the owner of the vehicle will be required to pay the full cost of an overnight stay in that pitch, even if he/she is no longer able to occupy it. The outdoor car park is exclusively for vehicles registered or authorised by reception.
10. BICYCLES/SCOOTERS. Bicycles, scooters and similar vehicles may not be driven at a speed of more than 10km/h. They may not be used inside the facilities of the area. To circulate in the dark they must have lighting.
11. FIRE. It is strictly forbidden to light open fires both in the area and on the beach. Only portable barbecues are permitted, and only if authorised by decree of the Administration, otherwise no fire of any kind may be lit.
12. VISITS. The maximum number of persons shall be 6, including the hosted users.
13. MINIMUM AGE. Children under 6 years of age must always be accompanied throughout the overnight stay area, even if they stay in their own accommodation.
14. SOURCES. The fountains in the overnight stay area supply drinking water, so they are for the exclusive use of water collection. For obvious reasons of hygiene, it is not permitted to use these fountains for any kind of personal hygiene, nor to wash clothes, kitchen utensils, feet or slippers. Naturally, no chemical substances of any kind may be poured into them.
15. TRASH. The overnight stay area has selective rubbish collection. Please help to respect the environment by using the containers provided for this purpose.
16. INSTALLATION AND POWER SUPPLY. For safety reasons, the doors of electrical cabinets must always remain closed. Electrical cables must be earthed and properly insulated. External connections are not permitted. Each plot has only one electrical socket. IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO TRANSFER ELECTRICITY TO ANY OTHER HOSTED CUSTOMER.
17. TREES AND PLANTS. Guests are asked to respect the trees and plants and not to allow anyone to mistreat them. It is forbidden to tie wires to the trees or to drive nails into them. It is also forbidden to tie ropes for any kind of installation or clotheslines. In any case, ask the staff for approval.
18. EXCEPTION FROM LIABILITY. The Área de Pernocta – La Siesta de la Gaviota has civil liability insurance to cover damages derived from its strict business activity. In the event of an accident, any damage caused to objects or persons by clients or persons outside the campsite will always be the responsibility of the person causing the accident. The Área de Pernocta – La – Siesta de la Gaviota will also not be responsible when the cause is not known, nor in cases of theft or force majeure, such as the weather (storm, hail, wind, etc.) or fire.
19. ABANDONED MATERIAL. Any equipment or object remaining in a pitch or accommodation after the stipulated departure time will be considered abandoned. The area staff will remove it without assuming any responsibility in case of loss or damage. If the objects are of value, the campsite will notify the customer by email or telephone and will keep them for 1 month, after which time the customer must collect them. Otherwise it will be destroyed without responsibility for the company.
20. MESSAGES. Messages for clients (telephone, email, fax, post, etc.) will be available to the client at Reception. Only in exceptional cases and of the utmost urgency will an attempt be made to notify the client. In no case can the overnight stay area guarantee the reception of the message by the client.
21. PLOTS. Check-in can be done from 09:00 to 21:00. If the pitch is free, it may be used before this time, but it must always be preceded by authorisation from the area staff. The assigned pitch must always be occupied. In the event that entry is later than the contracted time or departure is earlier, the full amount of the stay must always be paid. The pitch may only be occupied once you have the entry contract, which specifies the number of the pitch. It is strictly forbidden to change the plot assigned to you on arrival without prior authorisation from reception. If you wish to extend your stay, you must request and obtain the agreement of the reception in advance. The water connection is intended exclusively for connection to the motorhome. The drain, if there is one, is only for the disposal of grey water (washing, showering, etc.), which may not be disposed of on the pitch. It is strictly forbidden to use it for the disposal of waste water from the toilet.
22. WASTE WATER. The overnight stay area is equipped with special waste bins for chemical toilets. It is strictly forbidden to dump their contents anywhere else.
23. FUENTES, LAVADEROS Y FREGADEROS. Lave la ropa y la vajilla tan sólo en los lugares destinados a este fin y no en las fuentes de agua potable.
24. CIVISM. Try to contribute to the cleanliness of the area by leaving the facilities as you found them. Intentional soiling or damaging the facilities of the area, or the property of other guests, in addition to expulsion, will result in the restitution of the damage caused. Vandalism, aggressive behaviour, voyeurism and theft, in addition to expulsion, may be reported to the competent authorities.
25. PRECIOS. Las tarifas vigentes son las expuestas en el cartel oficial. Los precios se aplicarán por jornada con arreglo al número de pernoctaciones. La inscripción durante la noche, aunque no ocupe parcela, implica el pago de la pernoctación.
26. PAYMENT OF INVOICES. Payment of invoices, unless otherwise specified, shall be made at the time of entry to the site. The amount may be paid in cash or by debit or credit card. Reception hours will be from 9:00h to 21:00h. This timetable may be modified by the company according to the needs at any given time. Please make sure of the current timetable before making any arrangements.
27. EXIT. The pitch must always be vacated before 12 noon. The client must leave them in the same state as when they were occupied. In case of leaving the site after 12 noon, this must be communicated at the reception desk. Those who want to leave the campsite during the hours of silence (0.00-7.00), will have to leave their vehicle in the reception car park before midnight of the previous day.
28. SMOKE-FREE SPACE. According to state regulations (Law 42/2010) it is forbidden to
smoking in all covered facilities in the overnight stay area. Likewise, due to current health reasons, the distances or prohibitions set by the competent authority must be maintained.
29. LEGAL NOTICE. Área de Pernocta – La Siesta de la Gaviota informs you that the personal data you have given us to enable your stay on the premises, are processed in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and GDD. You can find out about your rights by consulting our Privacy Policy, available online and at reception.
30. APPLICATION: These regulations and the provisions displayed in the different facilities are mandatory. They will cease to be valid when a more recent edition is published on the website or on the official notice board. The overnight stay area reserves the right, in exceptional cases, to authorise variations to the published regulations without this serving as a precedent for other cases. Under no circumstances shall the provisions of current legislation or the rights that clients derive from it be altered.
