Here we answer frequently asked questions that customers ask us before visiting us. If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
NO. We have both plots with and without electricity. Hiring is optional.
NO. All pitches are perfectly level. The entire overnight stay area is completely flat.
La Siesta de la Gaviota is located about 400 metres from the beach, with no buildings in front of it. The path, although not steep, would be difficult for wheelchair users. To access the beach, a slope would have to be negotiated.
Our beach has very little slope, which makes it very safe for children. There are no rocks on the sand, although once in the water there are areas with some rocks.
La Siesta de la Gaviota is located on the beachfront. The private access to the beach is about 400 metres from the entrance to the overnight stay area.
As this is environmentally protected land, there is an access ramp to cross the small cliff, which can be difficult for people in wheelchairs or those with reduced mobility.
NO. Under no circumstances may tents or other similar structures be erected.
The maximum contracted power is 6A – 1200W. If this is exceeded, the overvoltage device will trip.
The use of barbecues is regulated by the Administration of the Junta de Andalucía. In any case it is always forbidden to light fires on the ground or in potentially dangerous places.
YES. We have a washing machine for washing clothes. The detergent, as it must be ecological, must be purchased at reception.
If the client requests adjoining plots we will do our best to make them adjoining, but at no time can we confirm this in advance of arrival.
The capacity of our pitches is 1 motorhome or camper, 6 people and the possibility of parking an extra vehicle.
YES. We also have a special car park for trailers outside the venue.
The tourist centre of Chipiona is 3.3 km away by car and 2 km away on foot or by bicycle along a greenway. The marina and fishing port is 2 km away by car and 1,600 metres along the same greenway.
We will do our best to allocate the requested plot, but we will never be able to confirm this prior to entry.
The contracted power is 6 Amps which is approximately 1300 watts.
At present we cannot guarantee shade on all plots.
Our plots have a surface area of 100 m² *.

The Entre Ríos greenway crosses our overnight stay area. This greenway runs between Rota and Sanlúcar de Barrameda. This makes us very close to Chipiona by bike.
Of course we do. We accept any means of payment.
NO. At the moment we do not have this facility.
Our friends are welcome free of charge. In any case, they must always be kept under supervision and on a leash. Vaccination records may sometimes be requested. *

Visitors can be received as long as they do not stay more than 1 hour and must present themselves at reception to be authorised. In all cases a valid document must be left at reception to be handed in on departure *.
At La Siesta de la Gaviota we attach special importance to the sanitary aspect. That is why we have bathroom and toilet facilities with a high standard of quality.
Hot water is available in our sanitary facilities without time limitations and at no additional cost.
NO. This service is not available at the moment.
We have a small shop where we sell our own products and those of local producers. First thing in the morning we are visited by the baker and very close by we have supermarkets and shops where you can buy everything you need.
